Hi.  I am a cross country coach in a small village in Alaska: Togiak.  Next year will be my third year coaching up here and last year I had a Freshman girl qualify for the state meet and finished 25th overall.

I would LOVE to take her and some other runners to an open race in the Washington/Oregon/Northern California area, but am having a hard time with funding such a trip.  Our school budget only allows for two trips (within the region). 

Can anyone give me some information on races that accept runners from out of the area, and ideas for helping to fund that trip?
